Namita Money

Fellowships and Alumni Manager
They/Them

Namita (they/them) is a program manager, facilitator, and community organizer who is passionate about dismantling systems of oppression through nurturing deep relationships, investing in community care, and celebrating authenticity. They identify as a South Asian-American person with caste privilege. Namita joins The Equity Lab after previously supporting a variety of initiatives focused on collective liberation. Their work is informed by their experiences facilitating an education program investigating the US food system through a social justice lens, co-creating food sovereignty for the Black community, caring for nonhuman animals in animal sanctuary settings, and supporting the elimination of animal experimentation. Namita holds a B.S. in Ecology and a Sustainability Certificate from the University of Georgia. They are driven by a deep zest for learning and growth, and outside of work, Namita enjoys farming, caring for and spending time with non-human animals, making pottery, and exploring community-rooted food co-ops.
