Stacy Lewis

Stacy Lewis is the Managing Director, People & Operations at Echoing Green, where she leads the organization’s talent strategy, internal operations, and people-centered systems with a steady focus on equity, clarity, and sustainability. With over 20 years of experience in the nonprofit and social impact sectors, Stacy is a seasoned executive leader known for building strong organizational foundations, designing human-centered policies, and fostering cultures where people can thrive.

Since joining Echoing Green in 2016, Stacy has helped shape and evolve the organization's internal infrastructure through periods of growth, transition, and transformation. Her leadership spans across a broad portfolio—including recruitment and onboarding, compensation and benefits, performance management, HR systems implementation, and cross-team collaboration. She is a trusted strategic partner to senior leadership and serves as a key connector between the organization’s mission and the people who carry it forward.

Stacy approaches her work with a belief that operations are not just about logistics—they are about people, purpose, and power. She is especially passionate about developing equitable systems that reflect an organization’s values in action. Whether piloting new decision-making frameworks, supporting teams through change, or creating space for reflection and repair, Stacy leads with integrity, intention, and care.

Her academic background includes a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management from The New School and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Hofstra University. 

Born and raised in New York, Stacy brings lived experience, deep institutional knowledge, and an unwavering commitment to collective wellbeing. She is most energized by work that connects the operational to the transformational—and by building systems that not only work, but work for everyone.
