I have been working in DC education for 20 years, currently as Chief Academic Officer at KIPP DC. I have been a teacher, trainer, VP, principal, funder, board member, and CAO serving students and families in DCPS and charter sectors. I am seeking to be a DC parent as well.

My dissertation was in creating inclusive practices within schools.

My future aspiration is to be the chief of police for DC. It is time to see policing as an education issue and make direct connections to improve the way we engage with our youth on the streets as well as within schools.
