Brigham Kiplinger

I am a fourth-generation Washingtonian who broke a long lineage of journalists to become a fifth grade teacher, and now school leader. I’ve spent 16 years in DC charter and public schools, married a DC public charter school teacher, and we now have two sons at Garrison (well, one just finished his first year here, and his little brother is still on the damn waitlist for next year, so I’m sort of trying to speak it into existence!). Aside from the above, as a long-suffering DC sports fan, watching the Caps win the Stanley Cup last year was one of the other happiest moments of my life.
