Jane Wallis

Jane Wallis, MPH, has been a health educator in Washington, DC for the last decade, currently working as the Associate Director at Grassroots Health, with a passion for finding the intersect between education, health, and physical activity. As the Associate Director, Jane runs the Washington, DC programming for 1,500 youth and over 100 parents/caregivers annually. She creates the annual programmatic budget, hires the team, trains volunteers, maintains schools partnerships with more than 12 DC middle schools, connects with other youth serving health organizations, etc. Additionally, Jane is an active member of the Youth Sexual Health Coalition organized by DC Health, and is the co-chair of the DC Mayor's Commissions on Health and HIV/AIDS (COHAH.)
